School Re-Opening: It was a great pleasure seeing all the students coming to school on 03 June 2025. This year seemed more overwhelming then ever before, we could observed the mixed feeling of excitement, eagerness and joy among the students, parents and teachers. All the students were warmly welcome with selfie point prepared by the teachers decorated with props & beautiful pictures and images designed by them to attract the students. This point was a fun engaging way to welcome students back and create a positive first impression lovely rose by the Headmistress and the teachers to make the children happy and comfortable.Will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happi nesso one rejects.
Yoga Day : Yoga day was celebrated in the school on 21st June 2025at 2.10pm. Performing Yoga will help the students to achieve a better life, physically mentally and spiritually as well. The Headmistress and a student spoke on importance of Yoga and its benefits. The session was organized soon after the assembly at 9.05am in assembly area. Students performed some easy asanas along with the teachers
Online Workshop by Teachmint: Online workshop was conducted by Teachmint regarding Smartboard Panel operations on 20 June 2025. This workshop was based on the skills and knowledge to effectively use, these interactive display boards and software in their classrooms.
Gurupoornima: It was a pleasure celebrating Gurupoornima on 13th July 2025. Adi guru Vyaasa image was displayed , decorated and worshipped in assembly. Mrs. Priti Mohanty sang a prayer for guru, students from V std and Mrs. Ulka spoke about the importance and meaning of Gurupoornima. Students were happy to know about Gurupoornima and a be a part of Celebration
Investiture Ceremony: Investiture ceremony took place on 18 July 2025. Gp Capt Rajalaxmi Prithviraj Chairman Shishuniketan was chief guest, appointments were given to the appointment holders and oath was administered by the chief guest in the presence of Cdr Meena Kumari Officer-In-Charge , Maj Ritesh Kumar Adm Officer and Headmistress. Scholar badges were also given away to the qualified students. Chief Guest also addressed the students & Parents. Vote of thanks was proposed by Head Girl Advita Pawar.
Formative Assessment Exam ( FA-I) .FA-I examination was conducted from 20 July to 22 July 2025. FA-Examination are a part of Academic Evaluation of a child as per the State Govt. instructions. There will be two FA Exams before each term. Each exam carries 20 marks. Portion of FA are sent a week before the exam. Students should come well prepared to the school, no unfair means should be used while answering the exam. Students should be present on all the FA exams, as the marks of FA are included in the terminal & annual exams
Kargil Vijay Divas Kargil Vijay divas was celebrated on 26th July 2025 in Shishuniketan during assembly at 8.30am. Ex service man Mr. Gurav Adm Superivisor of our school spoke on the war and gave glimpses of war condition at Tiger Hill and other serious conditions of that time and place and paid obituary. Mrs. Ulka tried to inspire students by showing medals on Gurav Sir’s blazer and spoke about how our motherland is greater than heaven, why we should love our country and protect it. Some students from IV and V spoke about the courages warriors of Kargil War and proud moments after winning. It.
Parents Meet : Parents meet was conducted as usual as second Saturday i.e on 12 July 2025 Parents came with various queries and they were addressed by the class teachers, subject teachers and headmistress. Parents were happy to see the installed Smart boards in the class. Parents of V std requested to extend the classes up to VI & VII Standard.
Akshara Abhasya: Akshara Abhasya a ritual for writing first letter for first batch of Nursery section took place on 02 Aug 2025 with zeal and enthusiasm. An Invocation song was sung by senior student of the school, Cdr Meena Kumari Officer-In-Charge performed the Sarswati Pooja and attended the function as parent along with her parents. All nursery class parents participated in Sarswati Pooja with great devotion all the parents gave practice of writing letter “A” holding their child finger in hand in a raw rice plate. The environment was filled with devotional vibes. All the staffs and parents were given puffed rice packets as Akshara Abhasya prasada. All were happy to receive the prasada.

Independence Day Celebrations/Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav : The school celebrated its 76th Independence day on Friday15Th Aug 2025. Chairman shishuniketan with Officer-In-Charge and Adm officer Sainik School accompanied by senior master unfurled the flag. An Independence day celebration was followed by various cultural programs which included dance performance, speech, patriotic songs etc. Children dressed in Saffron White and Green with colouful wrist bands on their hands were looking very beautiful. The dance performance was with all energetic moves. Students from III, IV & V Std delivered speech in Hindi, English and Kannada. Distribution of Chikki’s and biscuits were better than any sweets.
3. Krishna Janmasthami: Krishna Janmasthami was celebrated on 16th Aug 2025 in our school with great pomps and festivity by our Nursery and Kindergarten students. Children came dressed in ethnic wear as lord Krishna & Radha. The Matkis of Radha were painted and decorated it with glitters and stickers. The Incharge teacher spoke about the importance of this festival which depicts the birth of Lord Krishna with message of victory over evil
